The first edition of the Viva Mexico Film Festival is in Australia!

Our team is delighted to bring you a showcase of new and exciting contemporary Mexican films that we are certain you will enjoy. The festival has something for everyone, from action to drama, documentaries and comedy. We have an amazing line up of films to start our festival with a bang!

The Viva Mexico Film Festival kicks off in Perth on Wed 28 October with the WA Premiere of the highly acclaimed film, 600 Miles featuring Tim Roth. Don’t miss it at the Cygnet Cinema in Como.

We have partnered with the City of Perth’s Carnival Macabre Festival and will be screening some Mexican movies with a “macabre” theme at the Northbridge Piazza. These movies will be free.

From 5 – 8 November we will be screening our daily sessions in Perth at the state-of-the-art cinema, The Backlot Perth in West Perth. You will be amazed by the quality and comfort of this incredible venue.

The Viva Mexico Film Festival will then move to Melbourne and will be screening at the Backlot Studios in Southbank from 11 – 15 November. We are also holding a special Melbourne Premiere of the newly released film ‘Mexico’s Most Wanted’ on Friday 13 November at the Cinema Nova in Carlton. Get in quick!
